BITSOM SIP 2027 Batch Statistics: The financial outcomes of the internship cycle remain strong. The average stipend for the two-month internship period stands at Rs. 1.90 Lakhs. However, top-performing segments of the batch secured significantly higher compensation:
- Highest Stipend: Rs.4.50 Lakhs
- Top 10% Average: Rs. 4.06 Lakhs
- Top 30% Average: Rs. 3.43 Lakhs
- Top 50% Average: Rs. 2.95 Lakhs
Sectoral Breakdown: The distribution of internships across major industries is as follows:

The Class of 2027 consists of 159 students, characterized by significant gender and academic diversity. Women make up 52% of the batch, reflecting BITSoM’s commitment to gender parity. Academically, while engineers form the largest group at 47%, there is substantial representation from commerce and business backgrounds (41%), alongside students from the arts and sciences (6% each).
