Students availing on-campus placement in 2023-2024 had increased by about 25 per cent from 2022-23, which includes a six-fold increase in number of PhD scholars. The total number of graduates in 2023-24 is higher than the previous year by close to 10 per cent, and the number of PhD graduates by 30%.
For the first time, IIT Delhi conducted a special placement drive for PhD Scholars in June 2024, which helped to increase the number of offers by seven times compared to the previous year.
