Dr. Prafulla Agnihotri has been appointed as the Director, IIM Sirmaur effective May 17, 2022 onwards. Prof Agnihotri takes charge as Director after his predecessor, Dr. Neelu Rohmetra (Professor of Management) , who has completed her five year term as the founding Director of the Institute.

Dr. Prafulla Agnihotri holds a Master’s Degree in Management Studies (M.M.S.) from the University of Mumbai and Ph.D. in International Marketing Strategy area from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai. Before joining IIM Sirmaur, he was associated with Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C) as Professor of Marketing. He was also the Founding Director of IIM Trichy.
He has over thirty years’ experience in the industry of sales, marketing training and academics as well.
Speaking about how IIM Sirmaur would create a key impact nationally as well as in the State of Himachal Pradesh, Prof. Agnihotri added, “With our refined work in research and development, we will strive to engage more collaboratively with the State and Central government to make our work translational and relevant to address the needs of its people and contribute to their overall development.
