🎓 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MBA program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: You need a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. The medium of instruction during your graduation must have been English. If not, you must provide a valid score from an English proficiency test like TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS.
- Final Year Students: Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, but their admission will be provisional until they submit proof of completing their graduation by November 1, 2026.
✍️ MBA Application & Selection Process
The admission process is divided into two main stages: the application and the final selection round.
Application and Entrance Exam: You must apply through a single application for all nine IBS campuses. The application fee is ₹1,800. You can qualify for the selection process by submitting scores from one of the following exams:
- IBSAT 2025: This is the mandatory entrance test conducted by the IBS group.
- Other Exams: IBS Bangalore also accepts scores from CAT, NMAT by GMAC, XAT, or GMAT. The expected cutoff for CAT is 60-70 percentile and NMAT is 150+.
Final Selection Rounds
Shortlisted candidates are called for the final selection process at the IBS Hyderabad campus. This includes:
- Micro Presentation (MP): A short presentation on a given topic to evaluate your communication and analytical skills.
- Personal Interview (PI): A one-on-one interview to assess your overall personality, knowledge, and suitability for the program.
