Admission Process:
The admission process typically involves several stages:
- Stage 1: Shortlisting based on CAT/GMAT/GRE Score & Academic Profile: For MBA (PGP): Candidates are initially shortlisted based on their CAT 2025 scores, along with their academic record (10th, 12th, and graduation marks), and work experience. IIM Ahmedabad sets minimum sectional and overall CAT cut-offs. For the General category, the qualifying CAT cutoff is usually 80 percentile overall, with sectional cutoffs of 70 in VARC, 70 in DILR, and 70 in QA. However, the actual cut-offs for a call from IIM Ahmedabad are significantly higher, often in the 99-99.9+ percentile range for General category candidates.
- Stage 2: Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are invited for an AWT and Personal Interview (PI) round. The interviews are typically conducted face-to-face.
