Amritsar, Punjab: The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIMAm) successfully hosted the 6th edition of its annual entrepreneurship summit, E-Summit 6.0, on 30th November 2025. Held at Hyatt Regency, Amritsar, and live-streamed on IIMAm’s YouTube channel, the summit brought together students, founders, investors and visionaries for a day dedicated to expanding entrepreneurial thinking and encouraging innovation-driven growth.

The summit featured a dynamic Start-up Expo and an engaging GENESIS session, creating a vibrant platform where experienced investors, accomplished entrepreneurs and thought leaders shared insights, fostered innovation and explored emerging opportunities within the start-up ecosystem.
The day initiated with ceremonial lamp-lighting by Dr Pankaj Gupta, Faculty Anchor of the Centre of Entrepreneurship (COE), and the esteemed guests, Mr Manpreet Singh, Former Vice President, LetsVenture (LVX), and Mr Manish Verma, Co-founder & CEO, Angel Blue. Setting the tone for exploration and purposeful dialogue, Dr Pankaj delivered the inaugural address, emphasising IIMAm’s mission to nurture entrepreneurial capability, following which both the investors were felicitated.

The event was then set in motion by the much-anticipated Start-up Expo, where aspiring entrepreneurs pitched their innovative business ideas to the panel, seeking investment opportunities. Designed to spotlight creativity and practical problem-solving, the Expo provided a platform for participants to showcase promising concepts across sectors and engage with seasoned professionals. The pitches spanned healthcare, AI, cybersecurity and sustainability, displaying creativity, ambition and thoughtful innovation. This was followed by the investors offering their constructive perspectives to the aspiring start-ups, bringing the Start-up Expo to an engaging close.
In the afternoon, the summit transitioned into the GENESIS session, which began with the felicitation of the guests, Mr Raj Vikram, Co-founder & CEO, BeastLife, and Mr Nikhil NP, Co-founder & Director, Genrobotic Innovations Pvt Ltd, by Dr Ravishankar Kommu, Chairperson, Students Affairs, and Dr Pankaj Gupta. Mr Manish Verma and Mr Manpreet Singh also joined the panel, contributing to a discussion that encouraged participants to think ambitiously about innovation and the future of entrepreneurship. Mr Vikram advised start-ups to look beyond the hype of AI and focus on execution and measurable outcomes, while Mr Nikhil urged founders to demonstrate strong leadership, mission clarity and profitability to attract serious investors. Mr Verma encouraged entrepreneurs to move past buzzwords and prioritise genuine value over valuations, with Mr Singh suggesting that start-ups align with the ecosystem’s shift toward sustainable profitability and develop the right mindset at the right time. The discussion was followed by an engaging Q&A that enabled students to interact directly with the speakers.

As the summit drew to a close, IIMAm extended its appreciation to all stakeholders whose contributions enabled the smooth execution of the event. The announcement of the Start-up Expo results marked one of the most anticipated moments of the day, recognising Rieka as the winner for redefining aerial security through its indigenous, field-tested system that uses advanced RF jamming to safely and instantly neutralise unauthorised aerial threats. The runner-up position was awarded to Fibro EcoStem Solutions, a venture pioneering sustainable building materials by upcycling banana stems and paddy waste into durable, affordable and eco-friendly plywood alternatives.
E-Summit 6.0 reaffirmed IIMAm’s dedication to cultivating an ecosystem where innovation is encouraged, ideas are challenged, and entrepreneurial ambition is nurtured with purpose.
