The momentous occasion started when Prof. D. P. Goyal Director of IIM Shillong moved to hoist the National Tricolor, which fluttered majestically at a towering height of 100 ft, symbolizing the soaring aspirations of the IIM Shillong community, an Institution standing high to Nations pride in the eastern-most corner of this magnificent country. Students, along with the IIM Shillong fraternity joined in unison to sing the national anthem, expressing their collective pride in being a part of this great nation.
