IIM Bodh Gaya: On the 77th Independence Day, the entire IIM Bodh Gaya fraternity gathered to commemorate and reminisce about the long struggle of our freedom fighters. The institute had already been a notable part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign, instilling a sense of patriotism in the hearts of students. On 14th of August the institute also observed the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day.

Dr. Vinita S. Sahay has been Reappointed as Director of IIM BG
To commence the auspicious ceremony, Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, the Director of IIM Bodh Gaya (Indian Institute of Management, Bodh Gaya), unfurled the national flag, following which everybody sang the national anthem. After the melodious symphony, Dr. Sahay did more with her invigorating speech. She motivated the students to be self-dependent and resilient through any hardship they might come across. “Don’t just be grateful; take your responsibility too,” she said. She highlighted that this generation should carry the nation’s responsibility on their shoulders.
IIM Amritsar Celebrates Independence Day at the Transit Campus and at Attari Border
This was followed by a cultural programme organised by the Cultural Committee, in which students enthusiastically participated. They captivated everybody with their talented performances. The program included energetic dance performances, euphonious singing, and impressive poetry. Prof. Sreelekha Mishra, the Chairperson of the Student Affairs Committee addressed the gathering with an inaugural speech and oversaw the entire event.
Event was followed by outdoor games on the theme ‘Back to School’ . This included the lemon race, sack race, balloon race, and tug of war. The students, faculty, and non-faculty members evidently shared the independence day fervour and the sense of team building.
