Jadavpur University Placement: The placement session at Jadavpur University went well as usual. Rather this season was one of the best in recent times. Global offers poured in from various sectors and multiple organizations which also include dream companies like Google, Apple and Amazon. Nine students bagged lucrative job offers from foriegn lands including Edinburgh, Madrid and Berlin. Devarshi Maitra, a student of Production Engineering was offered a salary of Rs 1 crore 40 lakhs at Google’s London office.

Amazon has offered Satyam Kumar an annual package of Rs 1 crore 10 lakh crore. Satyam has been offered a job in Dublin. So was Electronic & Telecommunication (ECE) student, Chiradeep Dey. Lakshya Bagnani & Aritra Samanta from IT stream were offered jobs by Apple in their Hyderabad office.
Around 50 students bagged offers of more than Rs 40 LPA. According to reports around 1000 students sat for their placements and 84% received offers from 100 odd companies which had come for the campus recruitments. The ranking has been announced for the year 2022 based on publications of primary research articles in 82 top science journals between December 1, 2020 and November 30, 2021
