A record breaking 382 students were offered packages exceeding Rs 20 lakh per annum (LPA), 114 above Rs 30 LPA, 37 above Rs 40 LPA and 33 above Rs 50 LPA in 2023. Out of this, eight students secured the highest domestic package of Rs 82.63 LPA while two students were presented with a coveted international offer, reinforcing the global recognition of MNNIT graduates. Over 380 prestigious companies extended their trust to MNNIT by offering more than 1100 placement opportunities to its students.

Ruthvik Manyam from computer science and engineering department received the highest international offer of Rs 1.35 crore from A10 Networks, followed by Ankit Kushawaha from Mechanical Engineering with an offer of Rs 55 LPA from Deutsche Bank AG, Berlin, Germany, an official communique from MNNIT said. The average package offered to MNNIT students surged by more than 18% from Rs 17 LPA in 2022 to Rs 20.3 LPA in 2023. The list also included PSUs like Centre for Development of Telematics (C-Dot), Engineers India Limited (EIL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited(BPCL), Bharat Electronics Limited(BEL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).

According to the newly released NIRF ranking, on combined metric for Placements and Higher studies (GPH), MNNIT stands as the 2nd best among all NITs and the 7th best among all engineering colleges, including IITs. MNNIT also rolled out the maximum number of offers and on the basis of median salary of the placed students for the year 2021-22, MNNIT bagged 3rd position among all NITs as per the NIRF data 2023.
