MNNIT Allahabad Placement 2022: Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, a student in BTech final year has bagged an international package of Rs 1.18 Cr.
Lokesh Raj Singhi, aged just 21, of the Computer Science and Engineering department has received a full-time offer from Amazon, Dublin for the role of graduate software development engineer. Lokesh had also received an on-campus placement offer from Salesforce, a cloud-based software company headquartered in San Francisco but having an office in Hyderabad too but opted for US multinational technology company Amazon. He will be formally joining the firm in August 2022.

Talking to media, MNNIT director Prof R S Verma said, “This is not only the highest package so far by any student in the city, but Lokesh has also received an on-campus placement offer from Salesforce”.
Lokesh is an avid coder and used to actively participate in hackathons right from the first year. His phenomenal feat has inspired many budding coders of the college to follow suit. “The institute has a prestigious alumni network in the software industry and is well known for its placement statistics which are setting new standards every year,” added the director.

Younger son of Lalit Raj Singhi, a Kathmandu (Nepal) based businessman who deals in computer peripherals, Lokesh’s elder brother, Kriti Raj Singhi too is a software engineer working in the UK for the past year. The family originally hails from Churu, Rajasthan but has settled in Nepal for the past several years.

Young Lokesh did his schooling from a CBSE-affiliated school in Kathmandu and always wanted to become a software engineer. “Getting inspired from my elder brother, I have not informed my family of the interview till the time I bagged this job which has made us all so happy,” said Lokesh while talking to TOI.

Talking of his future planning, Lokesh said, “As of now, I have planned to join this company which would post me to Ireland.
