4 Students of BTech got salary package of Rs 58 lakh at MNNIT Allahabad

MNNIT B. Tech Placement Report 2021: In the current era of economic slowdown, getting a job before the completion of studies is nothing less than a miracle. In the midst of the ever-increasing list of unemployed people in the government data, if a job with a package of lakhs of rupees is in hand, then what is the matter. During the Corona period, students studying BTech from MNNIT, the only National Technical Institute in the state, got similar jobs. The picture of campus selection of B.Tech final year students in MNNIT is telling a similar story. In the last 54 days, about one third of the prospective engineers of the institute have got well-paid jobs. Two students each of Computer Science and Electronics branch have been selected among the multinational companies on the highest annual package of Rs 57.28-57.28 lakh.

Online placement is going on in MNNIT from 6th August for the academic session 2021-22. Around 900 students have registered to participate in the placements. Within these 54 days, about 35 percent of the students have been given offer letters by reputed companies of the country and abroad. So far, companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber have come for placement in the institute.

About 87% students have got jobs in MNNIT in the academic session 2020-21. In this, five students of B.Tech have got the maximum package of 51.57 lakhs. 56 students have got jobs at an annual package of more than Rs 30 lakhs. At the same time, in the academic session 2019-20, 38 students got more than 30 lakh packages. In this, a student got the maximum package of 49 lakhs. Similarly, in the academic session 2018-19, 10 students got a package of more than Rs 30 lakh. It had the highest package of 36 lakhs.

Pro. Rakesh Narayan (Training and Placement Incharge, MNNIT) said, “Placement for the new session has started in the institute from 6th August. So far, two students each of B.Tech Computer Science and Electronics branch have been selected among multinational companies with the highest annual package of Rs 57.28-57.28 lakh. About 35 percent of the students have been placed.
