Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) was set up in 1991 by the Kirloskar Group in Harihar. KIAMS offers specializations such as Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Family Business and Entrepreneurship, and Operations.In 1998, KIM ventured into training bright, young minds in high-quality management education to meet the managerial leadership needs of the country. This was offered as a two-year fully residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Harihar. Encouraged by the success of its alumni in the industry, KIM opened its second campus in Pune in 2010. Both campuses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Eligibility
- Any Graduate from a recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) in the Qualifying Examination.
- 10th and 12th Marks sheets
- Minimum Aggregate of 50% marks in any graduation

KIAMS Scholarship is awarded to meritorious students as follows:
- Students from CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT entrance exams having 95 percentile and above are eligible for a concession of Rs. 1,00,000/- in the total course fee
- Students from CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT entrance exams having from 90 up to less than 95 percentile are eligible for a concession of Rs. 60,000/- in the total course fee.

SDMIMD PGDM Admission 2024, Fees and Placement 2023
Eligibility: A Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+4) of Engineering from a recognized university, with not less than 60% overall aggregate marks. Students appearing for the final year examinations may also apply.
Selection Process: The selection process of PGDM 4.0 involves three steps:
- CAT/XAT/GMAT/ MHCET / KCET Scores
- Each candidate has to take at least one of the exams: CAT/XAT/GMAT/KCET(For Harihar)/ MHCET(for Pune).
KIM Admission Test (KIMAT): KIMAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT). Each candidate who applies for PGDM 4.0 Program at KIM with CAT/XAT/GMAT/MHCET/KCET will be called for KIMAT, subject to their application form being complete and accepted by KIM.
Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI): Based on their performance in the CAT/XAT/GMAT/ MH CET/KCET and KIM Admission Test (KIMAT), candidates are shortlisted for Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview.
