A major highlight of the induction was the address by Prof. Sudipta Dasmohapatra, Senior Associate Dean at Georgetown University, USA. Speaking on the rapidly shifting paradigms of management education, she emphasized the critical intersection of technology and human capability.
Prof. Dasmohapatra underscored that while artificial intelligence (AI) literacy and data-driven decision-making are now mandatory baseline skills for modern managers, they must be balanced with essential human-centric skills. She urged incoming students to aggressively cultivate adaptability, emotional intelligence, negotiation, collaboration, and impactful storytelling to effectively navigate a tech-centric corporate environment.

The importance of international academic standards was brought to the forefront by Ms. Shikha Taunk, Strategic Engagement Manager (India) for AMBA & BGA. She decoded the strategic importance of global accreditations, explaining how memberships with prestigious bodies like AMBA serve as universal benchmarks for credibility, rigorous academic standards, and institutional quality.
