NEET UG 2024 Registrations: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the application process for the NEET UG 2024 this week. As per a senior NTA official, it will start either today any time.
NEET UG 2024 exam will be held on May 5, 2024. The NEET UG 2024 exam pattern is expected to remain the same. The updated syllabus has been uploaded on the official website of NEET and NMC.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) had two months back released a notice on the updated syllabus. NEET UG aspirants need to check on the official NTA NEET website — neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET is the only medical entrance exam in the country to admit students to UG medical courses including MBBS and BDS programmes. NTA has also announced the NEET 2024 exam date. The NTA NEET UG exams are set to be held on May 5, 2024.

Here is the list of documents required for NEET 2024 registration:
- Candidate’s photograph
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
- ID proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/ Passport)
- Signature
- Left-hand thumb impression

Points to take Note :
- Candidates need to use a black pen for signature, instead of blue or any other coloured pen to fill the NEET UG 2023 application form.
- Online Application forms once submitted successfully cannot be canceled/ withdrawn.
- The confirmation page of the online application form will be generated only after successful payment of the fee by the candidate. A copy of the confirmation page of NEET UG will be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidates.
How to Apply: The candidates need to visit the official website — neet.nta.nic.in. Click on the NEET UG 2024 registration link. They need to fill the online forms and upload the documents. Then they have to pay fee payment through the online payment mode.
NEET UG 2024: Exam Pattern
NEET UG 2024 will consist of 200 multiple choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). 50 questions in each subject will be divided into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes) from 02 pm to 5:20 pm IST and shall be uniform for all candidates.
NEET UG 2024 : Marking scheme
In NEET UG 2024, the total marks stand at 720 and the total duration of the test is 200 minutes. The test comprises four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each subject consists of two sections: Section A, with 35 questions, and Section B, with 15 questions. Out of the 15 questions in Section B, you have to attempt any 10.
