About the Program: The PGDBA is a prestigious, two-year full-time residential program jointly offered by three of India’s leading institutions:

• IIT Kharagpur
• IIM Calcutta

Eligibility

1. A candidate must hold a graduate/ post graduate degree with 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 5 or 10 + 2 + 3 + 2, with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent). One-year MBA will not be considered equivalent of M.Sc./ M.Com.
2. Candidates with 10 + 3 (Engineering diploma) + 3 (lateral entry into B.E./ B.Tech.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E.), or with 10 + 2 + 4 (B.Sc.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Sc.), or with qualified CA/CS/ICWA with at least 60% marks (Intermediate and Final examinations of the CA/CS/ICWA considered together) are also eligible.
3. For SC/ ST and Person with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates, the qualifying marks for eligibility shall be 55% or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale.
4. The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks even if the degree awarding Institute provides marks in CGPA system. Their admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale than 10, the eligibility of a candidate will be based on the equivalence of the CGPA on a 10-point scale.

Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI): Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview based on their score in the PGDBA Admission Test 2024. For woman and transgender candidates, additional 2 marks will be awarded as the gender diversity score. This additional marks will NOT be considered for the final selection.

• Candidates need to get registered in the portal as New User by entering their Name as in 10th class certificate, Valid E-mail, Valid Mobile Number, and Captcha.
• After successful registration, candidates will get a confirmation message (to be sent to their registered E-mail ID and Mobile No).

Registered User

• A registered candidate will be allowed to login into the portal by entering his/her login ID and password (to be sent to their E-mail ID) for filling up the Application Form.
• Candidates have to provide the following required Information (the data already provided during registration will be brought automatically)

• Upload Educational Qualification Certificate(s) one by one from 10th Class [File Format: pdf; Size: Less than 150 kb]
• Upload the category certificate, if applicable [File Format: pdf; Size: Less than 150 kb]. In case of OBC-NCL, EWS & PwD the certificate must conform to the format given on the PGDBA website/ application portal. Further, OBC-NCL, and EWS certificate must be issued on or after 01st April 2023.
• Enter your work experience details one by one and upload the corresponding certificate [File Format: pdf; Size: Less than 150 kb]
• Verify your mobile number with mobile OTP
• Pay the application fee [₹ 1,250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, and ₹ 2,500/- for others)
• After successful payment, the application submission process will be completed and candidates can check their application status in the portal.

The programme fee for the 2-year programme for the 2026 -28 batch is Rs. 25 lakhs

PGDBA Placement 2025: The average salary received by students for the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) program offered jointly by IIM Calcutta, ISI Kolkata, and IIT Kharagpur is higher than that of last year, despite economic slowdown. The average salary offered is Rs. 31.37 Lakh per annum and the highest salary offered is Rs. 52 Lakh per annum.
