Srinivas University celebrated its Seventh Annual Convocation Day at the Mukka campus on Thursday. Participating as the chief guest at the seventh Convocation, Vice Chancellor, of Mangalore University, Prof P.L. Dharma emphasized the importance of the number 7 representing 7 Births (Janma). Dr. Dharma shared the “7 Mantra of Success in Life” with the graduates, highlighting the need to “respect parents, be change-makers, enhance skills, maintain physical fitness, contribute to the environment, develop a reading habit, and take risks in life”.

He also advised the graduates to upgrade their skills and knowledge to compete with artificial intelligence in the current era. Prof Dharma advised the graduates to enhance their intelligence with knowledge and skills to compete with the Artificial Intelligence of the present era.

Presiding over the Convocation, Chancellor of Srinivas University and President of A. Shama Rao Foundation Mangalore, Dr. CA. A. Raghavendra Rao emphasized that all the modern-day academic support and facilities were being provided at Srinivas University for the overall development. He exhorted the students to dream big and have goals in life, be productive, and contribute to society, humanity and the nation.

During the Convocation, 2233 graduates (PG – 645, UG – 1588) received their certificates. The University announced 222 ranks for various programs, with a total of 46 graduates receiving the Chancellor’s Gold Medal. Additionally, 64 PhDs were awarded during this event. Srinivas University Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar welcomed the gathering while Srinivas University Registrar of Evaluation Dr. Shrinivas Mayya proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Ambika Mallya, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Nayak, and Prof. Rohan Fernandes compered the event.
