The induction program for the 23rd batch of MBA happened with much fanfare at the Era. Sezhiyan Auditorium, Gandhi Block, earlier in the day. Over 130 budding managers along with their parents from 8 different states of India immersed themselves in the VIT Business School.
Dr. V.V. Gopal, Dean – VIT Business School (VIT) delivered the welcome address and congratulated all the students for choosing the right college for their career.
Ms. Radhika Saigal, Partner- Financial Services Digital and Technology Transformation Leader, Ernst & Young and happy parent of a VITian, urged the youngsters to understand the ‘mindset change’. She also gave MBA students advice on how to succeed in today’s competitive environment.
VIT -V, Chancellor Mr.G. Viswanathan underlined the importance of being an institution and a nation that grows and produces on its own.
Mr. Sankar Viwananthan, VP, enthralled the audience by presenting Financial Management with a humorous example.
Dr. G.V. Selvam urged students to be job creators rather than job seekers, and also outlined them on 4 principles of becoming instant managers viz; Leadership, Communication Skills, Problem Solving & Strategic thinking
