VITEEE 2024: The Vellore Institute of Technology has started the registration for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2024. Interested candidates can fill their online application form at the official website. The annual entrance examination conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology for admissions to its campuses at Vellore, Chennai as well as its group universities at Bhopal and Amravati respectively.

As per the official schedule released by VIT, the VITEEE 2024 exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted from April 19 to 30, 2024( Tentative). Following this, the result will likely be released on May 3, 2024.

VITEEE Eligibility: Candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) while there is a relaxation of 10% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states. Candidates belonging to these categories should produce the documents at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission. The selection of subjects should be mentioned in the application Form.
Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2002 are eligible to apply for engineering admission 2024. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / Class 10 certificate will be considered authentic. So, applicants should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counseling/admission, failing which their candidacy for admission will be disqualified.
Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination.
The exam will be conducted for 2.5 hours. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions and one mark for right and 0 for the wrong answer. There will be a total of 125 questions divided into the sectionIn Maths,Biology, Physics,Chemistry, Aptitude , there will be 40 questions from Biology, 35 from Physics and Chemistry each, 10 from Aptitude and 5 from English. In MPCEA, there will be 40 questions from Mathematics, 35 from Physics and Chemistry each, 10 from Aptitude and 5 from English.
