VITEEE 2026: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has opened registrations for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) for B Tech admission 2026 to its undergraduate engineering (B. Tech) programmes across all VIT campuses. The entrance exam serves as a gateway to BTech programmes offered at VIT Vellore, Chennai, VIT Bhopal, and VIT University AP campuses, and will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) at designated centres in India and abroad.

VITEEE 2026: Important dates and Exam duration
The VITEEE 2026 exam is tentatively scheduled to take place between April 28 and May 3, 2026. The duration of the test will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are allowed to appear only once for the exam, and any attempt to take the test more than once will result in the cancellation of candidature and admission.

Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be Indian nationals, NRIs, or holders of OCI/PIO cards. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2004, are eligible to apply.
- Students appearing for Class 12 or equivalent examinations in 2026 are also eligible, provided they meet the following academic requirements:
- A minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam (50% for SC/ST and candidates from J&K, Ladakh, and Northeast India).

Online Application Form: Candidates can apply online at the official site of VITEEE by 
paying Rs 1350 and register by sharing requisite details .Candidates can then login to fill the application form by entering the email id and the password received at their mail and the contact number. After entering all the required inputs, candidates can submit the application form of VITEEE to generate the application number which must be noted down for future reference. Candidates have to pay the application fee and upload the scanned photograph and signature to complete the process.
