Financial Times released its Global Masters in Management Rankings 2022. Seven Indian Business Schools rank in top 100 out of which 3 are private B Schools. IIM Bangalore tops in India overall and SPJIMR Mumbai tops in the private category.
NMIMS Mumbai & IMI New Delhi enter the list of top 100 for the first time.
Dr. Himadri Das, Director General, IMI Delhi, said, “All of us at IMI are super thrilled. Breaking into the global top 100 in FT rankings gives us resounding international recognition. This is the jewel on our double crown of AACSB and AMBA. University of St. Gallen tops again, 12th times in a row.
Switzerland’s University of St Gallen is once again the top business school in the world to study a Master in Management, according to the Financial Times Global Masters in Management ranking 2022. St. Gallen has held this status for the past 12 years.

French schools including prestigious Grandes Ecoles like HEC Paris and ESSEC Business School rank highly, with four of the top 10 Masters in Management programs located in France.
The B-school’s graduates have among the highest weighted salaries, not only in India, but among the top 100 FT MiM schools around the world, and have rated their school highly for helping them achieve their professional aims and for career advice.
The FT MiM ranking is based on 16 criteria. Alumni responses inform seven criteria that together contribute 59 per cent to the ranking’s total weight. The remaining nine criteria are calculated from school data and given 41 per cent weightage.

IIM Bangalore MBA programmes have consistently featured in the top 3 in India and in the top 50 globally in the QS and FT Global Rankings.
The B school is always among the top 2 management schools in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
IIM Bangalore jumped by 16 places in FT MIM Rankings 2022. SPJIMR Mumbai slipped by 5 places whereas IIM Kozhikode jumped by 15 places. NMIMS Mumbai and IMI New Delhi, 2 Business Schools are new Entries in top 100 of Financial Times MIM Ranking 2022.
