IIT Indore Admission 2023: For the academic year 2023–2024, the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore (IIT Indore) introduced the B Tech in Chemical Engineering degree. The program’s goal is to give the students a comprehensive viewpoint while focusing on a multidisciplinary and hands-on approach. As of now IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay is the top choice for students for B Tech in Chemical Engineering. Chemical engineering is one of the fundamental engineering disciplines.
Recently, IIT Indore announced 10 new courses including four in BTech and six new M Tech programs from the academic year 2023. These courses include B Tech in Chemical Engineering, B Tech in Mathematics & Computing, B Tech in Engineering Physics and B Tech in Space Science & Engineering.
16 other IITs, including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kharagpur, also offer this course.
Leading academic specialists from India and around the world created the programme structure and curriculum, which covers both conventional and modern chemical engineering topics. Numerous specialisations are available, including Petrochemical, Biochemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Processing etc.
Eight semesters make up the four-year, full-time undergraduate degree programme. Candidates will have to take six to seven required courses each semester in addition to their choice of electives.
Admission to the programme will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced 2023 score. Candidates must also have passed the class 12 (or equivalent) examination from a state or central board that is recognised.
