IIM Udaipur PhD Eligibility
- A 1-year/2-semester Master’s degree after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree or a 2 year/4-semester master’s degree after a 3-year Bachelor’s degree Program or qualifications declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
- A five-year Integrated Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. * (or) • A professional qualification (completed), such as CA (ICAI), ICWA (CMA), CS with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 60 % marks.
- A4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree with equivalent of 75 % marks in aggregate or its equivalent. This cutoff is 70 % marks for applicants from SC, ST and PwD categories*.
*For the candidates in reserved categories (SC, ST and Pwd) the minimum degree marks requirement as a part of the basic eligibility criteria given above will be relaxed by 5 points)

Financial Support
- There is an application fee waiver for the PhD program.
- A generous monthly stipend of Rs. 50000 (first 2 years), Rs. 55,000 on clearing comprehensive exam
- Contingency grants, starting with Rs. 50,000 in the first year and Rs. 25,000 annually from the second to fifth years.
- A one-time allowance of up to Rs. 50,000 is provided for a laptop/PC, with the option to use up to Rs. 25,000 from the first year’s stationery grant for this purpose.
- Research grants of Rs. 150,000 are available for conducting thesis-related research.
