IIT Bombay Placement 2023: Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT B) Placements 2022 -2023 has started and IITians across various IITs are receiving offers worth crores. IIT Bombay Placements 2022 are ongoing and have turned out to be a big hit so far. IIT Bombay students have received over 1500 job offers out of which 1224 were accepted. As per the data shared by the institute till Day 9 of the placement drive, 25 students have accepted job offers with CTC over Rs 1 Cr per annum.

Over 400+ domestic and international organizations have registered with IIT Bombay this year and have offered 1100+ unique profiles, shared the institute. 71 international offers were made by organisations in locations such as USA, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Netherlands, and Singapore, and 63 were accepted by students.

Some of the top recruiters who have visited the campus this season are American Express, TSMC, Honda Japan, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Morgan Stanley, Sprinklr, and conglomerates such as Reliance, Adani, and Tata.
Slotting of companies at IIT Bombay is done in a manner ensuring that a healthy mix of various sectors are represented on each day. Moreover, the slots are spread out to reduce the taxing nature of placements on students.
The phase-I of placements will continue till 15th December 2022. All students attend the interviews from one venue even though the companies recruit them via interactions in-person, remotely or using a hybrid mode.
As per the statement by IIT Bombay placement office, the tech companies have been very selective and some have even visited the campus this year for the placement.
Many of the tech giants have already announced a hiring freeze and the ongoing Tech lay offs can also be one of the reasons why limited companies are hiring IITians. Source: Times Now News
