IIT Kanpur Placement 2023: Indian institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT K) students received package of INR 4 Cr. Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) students have hit milestone with the highest salary. Three students from various IIT’s which includes IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur. With the ongoing placements at different institutes, high frequency trading firms have offered salaries of up to INR 4 crore.
B Tech Placement 2023 Update: 44% Increase in PPOs at IIT Madras
The Jane Street placement offers for international positions have come in when the Top IT firms have either hired or laid off as per reports.
Recently, IIT Madras also a record increase wherein nearly 333 offers were made to students appearing for the placements.
Firms like Qualcomm, Microsoft, Honeywell, Texas Instruments and Goldman Sachs offered jobs to students and out of these firms, Qualcomm and Honeywell offered 19 Pre-Placement Offers, Microsoft offered 17, Goldman Sachs offered 15, Texas Instruments offered 14 and Oracle offered 13 as per the press release. The pre-placement offers by IIT Madras recorded more than in the year 2021-22 wherein around 231 PPO were offered.Apart from IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee also offered Rs.1.6 crore for an international role and Rs.1.3 crore at domestic level post and total of 6 students have been placed on Thursday, December 1, 2022. As per reports, for international role, few companies arer expected to offer international role at IIT’s this year such as Squarepoint Capital for Canada, Rakuten for Japan, and Tolaram Group for Nigeria.
