Application Category 1 (CFTI):

- GN/OBC (NCL)/EWS Indian national applicants: Minimum 7 CGPA on a 10-points scale or 70% marks in Bachelor’s degree of a minimum 4-year duration from any of the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Such candidates are exempted from the requirement of CAT.
- SC/ST/PwD Indian national applicants: Minimum 6.5 CGPA on a 10-points scale or 65% marks in Bachelor’s degree of a minimum 4-year duration from any of the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). Such candidates are exempted from the requirement of the CAT.
- All applicants must have studied Mathematics at +2 level (or equivalent).

Application Category 2 (NON-CFTI):

- Indian national applicants: A valid CAT score.

- Bachelor’s degree (of minimum 3-years duration) with

- SC/ST/PwD Indian national applicants: Minimum of 5.5 CGPA on a 10-points scale or 55% marks.
