IMT Ghaziabad Convocation 2023: Leading B School of India, Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad (IMT Ghaziabad), celebrated the Annual convocation ceremony for its PGDM Batch, PGDM Part Time batch and PGDM ExP Batch of 2023 on October 8, 2023. Mr. Sanjiv Puri, Chairman & Managing Director, ITC India Limited, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest for the Convocation. He expressed his delight to be present at such a significant day of the Graduating Cohort’s lives.
In his moving address, Mr. Puri remarked upon the ever-changing world they’re in, highlighting India’s potential to shine bright due to its unmatched scale and abundant talent. He urged the graduating class to not just chase success, but also create lasting and thoughtful solutions, drawing inspiration from Chandrayaan’s resilience. He stressed the need for IMT Ghaziabad’s alumni to be adaptable and learn from challenges, learning from others around them and inspiring the society in the process.
Mr. Puri’s message invigorated the graduating students, parents and the IMT community. His words of wisdom will certainly guide the young leaders in their promising and exciting journey ahead.
Ms. Jyoti Mahendru, Chief People Officer, Wunderman Thompson (South Asia), was conferred with the Distinguished Alumnus Award. She emphasized how IMT Ghaziabad effectively equips its students for the challenges of the real world, encouraging the young graduates to follow their passions and pursue what they love the most. She also shared her heartwarming sentiments about returning to her alma mater after three decades and reflected upon her time here.
Mr. Ankit Aggarwal, Founder & CEO UnStop, was awarded with Young Alumnus Achiever Award. He talked about his personal journey of diverging from the conventional career trajectory to embark upon the entrepreneurial path. He stressed the importance of equipping a versatile knowledge base, with fundamental principles, to succeed in the industry.
