The Kautilya School of Public Policy (KSPP) celebrated its 2nd Graduation Ceremony on Friday, the 17th of May 2024 at the Kinnera Seminar Hall of GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad campus. The event kicked off with an academic procession, setting the tone for a day of celebration and achievement.

The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Mr. Justice Arun Kumar Mishra, the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of India, New Delhi. In his address, Justice Mishra congratulated the graduates and emphasized the importance of their role in shaping the future of public policy.

Addressing the graduates, Justice Mishra highlighted the significance of pursuing justice, equity, and the common good through public policy. He encouraged the graduates to uphold integrity, empathy, and ethical leadership principles as they embark on their respective journeys.
The ceremony also focused on the role of the Constitution of India in ensuring rights for all and the efforts of the NHRC in reaching out to diverse stakeholders through various initiatives. Justice Mishra urged the graduates to bring glory to their institution, family, and country by living a meaningful and purposeful life.
Earlier, the graduation ceremony was formally inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries. GITA President M. Sri Bharat congratulated the graduates in his presidential address and felicitated the chief guest. KSPP Dean Prof. Syed Akbaruddin introduced the chief guest to the audience.
A total of 25 students received their degrees during the ceremony, along with merit medals for the toppers. The Yanamandra Mallikarjuna Rao Gold Medal was jointly received by Pranitha Pullamaraju and Priya Bhatkar. Antara Maitra received the Dean’s Award, and Pranitha Pullamraju was honored with the President Gold Medal for the First Ranker in the Master’s Program in Public Policy.
The proud parents of the graduates expressed their gratitude to the faculty and management for shaping their children into successful professionals in Public Policy. KSPP Dean announced the names who received the degree and certificates from the Chief Guest. While the Registrar Dr. D. Gunasekaran presented the signing of degree records to the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dayananda Siddavattam.
The graduation speech was delivered by KSPP student Vinayaka Sai Chaitanya, and Prateek Kanwal, Co-Founder of KSPP, proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the national anthem, marking the end of a memorable day for the graduates. As per Media Report
