The Indian Army has invited applications for its 134th Technical Graduate Course (TGC), which will begin in January 2022, at a time when the country is brimming with patriotism, whether it’s the country’s 75th Independence Day or the timed release of the critically acclaimed Bollywood film “Shershaah.” It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Engineering graduates who want to join the Indian Army and serve their country.
Candidates should have an engineering degree in a variety of fields, such as information technology, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, and so on.
Candidates who have not yet passed their degree test will be considered only if they are in their final year of study.
For permanent commission in the Indian Army, the training will take place at the Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun. The online application process began on August 17 and will end on September 15, 2021.
Age limit: The minimum age is 20 years old, while the maximum age is 27 years old. Candidates must have been born between January 2, 1995, and January 1, 2002, to be eligible to apply.
From the start of the training or the date of reporting to IMA, whichever comes first, selected candidates will be issued a Short Service Commission on probation in the rank of Lt. Cadets will be given a permanent commission in the Army in the rank of Lieutenant upon successful completion of training.
Stipend and salary: The training will last 49 weeks. The trainees would be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 56,100.
Once they have completed their training, the cadets will be commissioned as Lieutenants on the Level 10 pay scale, which goes from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Other allowances will be available as well.

Step 1: Go to joinindianarmy.nic.in, the Indian Army’s official website.
Step 2: Select ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’, then ‘Registration’ (Registration is not required if you have already registered at joinindianarmy.nic.in).
Step 3: After carefully reading the instructions, complete the online registration form.
Step 4: Once you’ve registered, go to the Dashboard and click on ‘Apply Online.’ Officers Selection’s ‘Eligibility’ page will appear.
Step 5: Select ‘Apply’ from the drop-down menu next to Technical Graduate Course. The page titled “Application Form” will appear.
