Eligibility Criteria for MBA-E&I:
A candidate aspiring for admission into the MBA (Entrepreneurship & Innovation) program must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline as per the requirements of eligibility for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs.- Candidates must have a valid CAT 2024 score or valid GMAT score of the GMAT taken after 1st January 2023.
- Those Who have applied through the CAT 2024 exam need not apply again.

Selection Process for MBA-E&I:
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the personal interview based on their performance in the CAT/GMAT, scholastic achievement, gender, and relevant work experience.
- The personal interview stage will comprise a business plan presentation and interview.
- Personal interviews will be conducted in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Noida, and Lucknow.
Eligibility Criteria for PGP & ABM:
- Educational Qualification: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).
- University Recognition: The degree must be from a university recognized by an act of the central or state legislature in India, Parliament, or deemed as a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
- Equivalent Qualification: Recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
- Mark Calculation: Percentage based on the university’s practice. If grades/CGPA are given, conversion to percentage follows the university’s certified procedure. If no procedure exists, conversion is done by dividing the CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying by 100.
- Final Year Students: Can apply if they are appearing for the final exam or awaiting results. Must submit a certificate by June 30, 2025, confirming completion of degree requirements.
- Eligibility Verification: IIMs may verify eligibility at various selection stages, details on www.iimcat.ac.in
- Minimum Criteria: Meeting minimum eligibility does not ensure shortlisting.
- Communication: Candidates must maintain a valid email and phone number.
- Special Degrees: Accepts equivalent qualifications recognized by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE, including AMIE by the Institution of Engineers-India and AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers India.
- AIU Equivalency: Qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. Cases not covered require an equivalency certificate from AIU.
Eligibility Criteria for PGP SM:
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PwD category) or equivalent, with at least two years of professional experience.
- Shortlisted candidates would be required to submit a Statement of Purpose, the form for which will be made available.
Selection Process for PGP, PGP-ABM PGP-SM:
- The CAT advertisement usually appears in the National dailies in July or August.
- Common Admission Test is a computer-based test (CBT). For more details about CAT,
- Candidates are shortlisted for the interview based on their performance in the CAT, scholastic achievement and relevant work experience.
- Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) will then be conducted in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and New Delhi from the end of February onwards.
- Final selection is based on performance in CAT, scholastic achievement, work experience, and performance in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
Scholarships: The institute offers need-based scholarships for students based on family income, regardless of caste, creed, gender, or religion. Eligibility and disbursal criteria are announced during admissions, with scholarships disbursed term-wise based on academic performance. Scholarships are for one year only and cannot be auto-renewed; students cannot receive more than one scholarship. Additional scholarships from Central and State Governments and other bodies are available, details of which are on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and respective State Government portals.
