JoSAA 2023: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin online counselling for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other centrally-funded technical institutions tomorrow, June 19. Candidates can apply online.
JOSAA: The Ministry of Education (formerly known as the Ministry of Human Resources Development) has established the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2023 with the purpose of overseeing and organizing the joint seat allocation process for admissions to 118 institutes for the academic year 2023-24. These institutes consist of 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 38 Other Technical Institutes Funded Fully or Partially by Central or State Government (Other-GFTIs). All academic programs offered by these institutes will follow a unified admission process facilitated by a single platform.

Online Registration & Choice Filling

- If you have registered in JEE Main 023 then use JEE Main 2023 Application No.
- Candidates who have not registered in JEE (Main) 2023 and applied for JEE (Advanced) 2023 then use JEE (Advanced) 2023 Login Id as Application No.
- If you have registered for JEE (Advanced) 2023 then use JEE (Advanced) 2023 password. Otherwise use JEE (Main) 2023 password.
The JoSAA 2023 dates have been announced and can be found on the official website josaa.nic.in. The registration process for JoSAA 2023 will begin on June 19, and the registration link will be updated on the website. It is important to note that candidates must qualify in the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams in order to participate in JoSAA 2023. The authorities will also release the JoSAA seat allotment results for each round, as well as the round-wise cutoff, on the official website. JoSAA counselling aims to provide admission to eligible candidates in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and IITs.
JOSAA Cut off of IIT, NIT
During the JoSAA 2023 counselling, there will be two rounds of mock allotment to assist candidates in making informed choices for the actual allotment rounds. The seat allotment results will be published online, and candidates will be allocated seats based on their merit, preferences, and seat availability.

JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2023
JoSAA 2023 does not have any specific eligibility criteria. However, in order to participate in JoSAA counselling 2023, candidates must qualify in either JEE Main 2023 or JEE Advanced 2023. It is also important for candidates to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the participating institutes. If the candidates fail to meet the required criteria, they will not be allocated seats in the institutes offering B Tech admissions.
