NIT Surathkal Placement 2022: In a record, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, (NITK) has been able to place 86.1% of its students this year. In the BTech courses alone, the placement percentage is 96.9. The highest pay package this season is INR 45 lakh per annum, and minimum package is around INR 3.7 lakh per annum.

According to recruiters, placements were relatively dull from the past two years, due to the Covid-19 situation, and recruitment was done online as a safety measure.

“The recruitment process has picked up well across the country, due to the situation improving across the globe, resulting in better placement of our candidates. We are getting more enquiries from startups and well-established companies this year. We at CDC train students in skill development and resume building, and conduct workshops. We have placement coordinators, to help candidates compete in the respective arenas. This year, we are putting more effort on international and PhD placements” said S Srihari, Chairman, Career Development Centre, NITK Surathkal.

As per reports, in the last placement year of 2020-21, overall placement percentage was 72.6%. This year, BTech courses had a placement record of 96.9%.
NIT Rourkela Placement 2021
A total 1,385 out of 1,608 undergraduate and postgraduate candidates have been placed. The number of companies visiting the campus has doubled. Last year it was 278, and this year the number of companies that visited the campus has crossed 450.
So far, it includes both IT-based and core companies. Besides, pre-placement offers too have increased, with 214 candidates getting placed in 57 companies.
The undergraduate placement is almost completed for this season. Currently, postgraduate recruitment is on, and will soon be complete. The fresh season campus placement drive starts from July.
