Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced results of Class 12 board examination. Students can check it on results.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in in addition to DigiLocker and UMANG apps. The board may also provide these results via IVRS and SMS.

CBSE has issued six-digit security pins for activating students’ DigiLocker accounts which schools can download using their LOC credentials from digilocker.gov.in. Students have to use their security pins, activate their accounts, so that they can download digital copies of their marks sheets and certificates once results are announced.

Steps to check scores on DigiLocker
Step 1: Open the DigiLocker app/website
Step 2: Sign in/create account
Step 3: Look for CBSE section on homepage or select CBSE under categories section
Step 4: Provide the required information and check scores
The CBSE Class 12 marksheet comprises details such as name and personal details of students, marks scored in each subject, total marks, and pass/compartment status. Over 38 lakhs students eligible were for the CBSE 2023 examinations. 87.33 per cent of the students who appeared in board exams passed this year, a decline of over 5 per cent compared to last year. Girls outshined boys this year as well. Pass percentage of female students is 6 per cent better than their male counterparts.
Kerala’s Trivandrum zone performed the best with 99.91 per cent. Among schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya outdid every school with a pass percentage of more than 97 per cent.
Meanwhile, the CBSE has decided that it will not award first, second and third divisions to students to avoid unhealthy competition. The board spent around Rs 1.17 crore to provide water to students and around Rs 1.95 crore was earmarked towards providing COVID essentials.
