Updated as on Aug 07, 2021 12:40 PM. JEE Main session 3 Result 2021. 17 candidates, which include one female, scored 100 percentiles (100 NTA score) in the JEE (Main) July-August (session 3) results. The results were announced by the National Testing Agency on Friday night. A total number of 7.09 lakh candidates were registered for Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) in this examination.

4 candidates each from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana scored 100 percentiles, while 2 each from Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are among the toppers. There are one candidates each from Bihar, Rajasthan and Karnataka as well among the 100 percentile scorers. The Delhi toppers are Pravar Kataria and Ruchir Bansal.

Compared to the first and second session conducted in February and March 2021, more number of candidates scored 100 percentiles. Six candidates scored 100 percentiles (100 NTA score) at the JEE (Main) February examination, while 13 scored 100 percentiles in the March exam. After all four sessions of JEE (Main)-2021 examination, the final merit list will be issued taking into consideration the best of the four NTA Scores.

JEE (Mains) is being conducted four times a year from the current academic session to offer flexibility to students and a chance to improve their scores amidst the second wave of Covid-19 in India.
The first phase in February was followed by the second phase in March, while the next phases were scheduled for April and May. But those were postponed after a spike in the number of cases of coronavirus during the second wave of the pandemic in India. The fourth and final session of JEE (Main) will be conducted on August 26.

A total of 6.5 lakh candidates registered for the exam for February of which 6.2 lakh appeared, while 5.9 lakh of a total 6.19 lakh registered candidates took the test in March.
The examination was conducted at 915 examination centres in 334 Cities, including 12 cities outside India in Baharain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kualalampur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, and Kuwait.
The examination was conducted in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Gujarati along with Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
JEE (Main) is conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes in National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology and other centrally-funded technical institutions and engineering colleges of participating states. It is also the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced) for admission to the prestigious IITs.
For the first time 200-odd technical institutions of Uttar Pradesh too would be conducting their admissions based on scores of this test.
