CEOWORLD Magazine 2024 Rankings: London Business School tops in overall Ranking followed by The Wharton School, Harvard Business School. In India IIM Calcutta tops and XLRI is the only private B Schools ranked CEO World Ranking 2024. A total of 169 B Schools were ranked spread in more than 40 countries including 45 from the USA and 14 from India, 13 from UK.
Top 100 B Schools – based on ‘Graduate Outcome’ scores and overall NIRF Ranking
Only two B Schools from India were found in the Top 50 which is – IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad at 40th and 42nd position respectively.
Top 170+ B Schools from 156 countries rankings 2022 by CEOWORLD magazine
XLRI ranked at 58th, was the only management institute from the private B Schools category in the list of the CEO World Magazine ranking. IIM Indore secured the 60th position and surprisingly was ahead of IIM Bangalore at 74th position in the ranking. Faculty of Management Studies – FMS Delhi ranked at 62.
Apart from being the only B School from Private Category, XLRI displayed phenomenal improvement in the CEO WORLD Magazine Ranking rising up from 85 in 2022, 64 in 2023 to 58 in 2024.

XLRI in its official communication said that the institution remains dedicated to molding the next generation of leaders and that its dedication to educational supremacy has now been globally acknowledged.
Ranking criteria included student, professional, and recruiter satisfaction.
Detailed findings & methodology: CEOWORLD magazine surveyed 250,000 business executives, graduates, global business influencers, industry professionals, business school academics, employers, and recruiters in 156 countries and territories between September 15, 2023, and December 22, 2023. Ten percent of the interviews were conducted by telephone, 82% online, and 8% by post or face-to-face. All quantitative interviews were conducted on a confidential basis, without relying on institutions’ data submissions.

Participants were asked to rate institutions on a scale of 1 “marginal” to 100 “outstanding” or “don’t know.” The 2024 Global Business Schools survey was carried out by the CEOWORLD magazine – the website for CEOs, COOs, CFOs, senior corporate executives, business leaders, private equity investors, investment bankers, and high net worth individuals worldwide.
The rankings are based on seven major metrics of quality and reputation. The overall Score (100%) is the sum of the following:
1) Academic reputation
2) Admission Eligibility
3) Job placement rate
4) Recruiter feedback
5) Specialization
6) Global reputation and influence
7) Annual tuition and fees
However, this is by no means a comprehensive list; At the same time, the institutions above are the CEOWORLD magazine’s “best business schools in the world for 2024,” and there may be many other business schools that offer excellent programs. This ranking should not be viewed as the most essential aspect when choosing a business school and is merely one element to consider.
