GATE 2022 Exam Update: The exam is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scheduled to be conducted from February 5 to 13, however amidst the rising COVID cases, thousands of candidates who are going to appear for the GATE 2022 are demanding postponement of the exam. Earlier, IIT Kharagpur director Virendra Kumar Tewari had said that the decision on GATE 2022 will be taken soon after reviewing the situation.
As per a report, the IIT Kharagpur in the fresh notification, said that due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, the GATE 2022 exam may get postponed. The premier institute also said the applicants appearing for the GATE 2022 exam are advised to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
GATE Exam 2022 Update: Amid rise in the coronavirus cases, Over 54,000 candidates on Wednesday morning signed an online petition and demanded postponement of GATE Exam 2022. The candidates must note that the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) was scheduled to be held from 4-13 February. The result of the examination will be declared on 17 March. This time, the exam is being conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) KGP.
In the online petition, the students have demanded that the exam be postponed keeping in mind the safety of the examinees due to the COVID Third wave in the country.
