Indian Institute of Management Trichy (IIM Trichy) or IIM Tiruchirappalli) has increased its MBA programme intake from 230 to 360 this year, institute director Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh said. At a press conference here, Singh also announced that the institute will hold its eleventh convocation on Wednesday.

- For PGPM programme, the highest and average CTC stood at Rs. 41.61 lakh per annum and Rs. 20.55 lakh per annum respectively.
- For PGPM-HR, the highest and average CTC were Rs. 22 lakh per annum and Rs. 15.82 lakh per annum respectively.

“We have increased our activities in terms of academia as well as executive education. Our faculty size has grown, and with this year’s intake, the total number of students will be 410. We are also in the process of recruiting at least 10 more faculties,” Singh said.
“We are supposed to get our grants from the ministry of education in two instalments, each totalling approximately ₹330 crore. IIM-Trichy has already used its first grant to construct several buildings at a cost of ₹30- Rs 40 crore more than the allocated fund, through internal revenue generation.
