IIM Amritsar Conducts MDP for Senior Officials of SJVN

Amritsar, Punjab: IIM Amritsar successfully conducted two Management Development Programs (MDP) for Senior officials of SJVN. The first program titled “Leading and Managing in the Next Normal-Collaborate, Cooperate and Commitment to Change” was held virtually from 23-25th Mar’22. The participants of this program were senior leaders managing critical operations of the organization at different power plants. The focus of this MDP was to prepare the employees for the changing energy landscape and the competitive business environment in which SJVN exists.

The next program titled “Strategic Leadership: Creating and Sustaining Value” was also held virtually from 27- 29th Mar’22 and was targeted at the senior officials of SJVN posted abroad. This MDP focussed on helping the employees to handle business disruptions better and to steer them towards understanding the critical mix of internal and external change factors that might impact SJVN in the future.

Both the programs were designed by Dr. Vartika Dutta, Chairperson, Executive Education at IIM Amritsar and were facilitated by the expert faculty of the institute under the guidance of the Director Dr. Nagarajan Ramamoorthy. The participants were exposed to different learning approaches that would definitely affect their strategic abilities to take crucial business decisions.
