The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT – M) is currently accepting applications for its summer fellowship programme. Interested and eligible individuals can apply for the programme by visiting the official website sfp.iitm.ac.in. The deadline for application submission is 5pm on March 31.

The summer fellowship is a two-month programme set to commence on May 22 and conclude on July 21, 2024. However, there is flexibility in the schedule to accommodate students’ convenience, as stated in an official announcement from the institute.
Eligibility: Candidates pursuing 3rd year of B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg) or 3rd or 4th year of Integrated M.E./M.Tech. programme, 1st year of ME/M.Tech/M.Sc./M.A, MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of high ranks in university examinations are encouraged to apply, highlighting their academic performance and achievement including papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated, score/rank in Mathematics Olympiad and any other awards/distinctions obtained.
IIT students are ineligible to participate in this summer fellowship programme.
Stipend: A sum of Rs.6000/- per month will be given as a stipend for a maximum period of 2 months.
